Truck Damages Overpass
The overpass at Circle Drive and Highway 11 was closed for more than two hours Friday after a northbound truck collided with the structure. The truck hit the overpass just before noon, causing chunks of concrete to fall, city police say. No one was injured. Police initially restricted northbound traffic, and city engineers were called in to assess the damage. The overpass was closed at about 1 p.m. and reopened at about 2:30. Minor traffic restrictions remain in place to allow for repairs.
